By now it’s evident that the sports community is all about promoting digital currencies to introduce them into the mainstream. Collaborations and partnerships of big crypto firms with popular sports teams have been a daily sight.

Recently, NBA player Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and the Cavaliers changed his Twitter profile picture to a Loser Club NFT to show his support. Right after this incident, there was a 53% surge in the floor price of digital collectibles. The price rose from 0.28 ETH to 0.428 ETH. However, it could not surpass the all-time high value that it touched on March 15 of this year. An increment of 1,144% in its transaction volume was also noticed in the last 24 hours.

Loser Club NFT is the creation of Todd Nebula’ or (J’von) who was “never cool”. The goal behind this creation is to ‘sell art, put money back to the holders to do whatever they want, and create a hub for all losers to commune and create together.’

Irving also shared an additional post on Twitter on Loser Club NFT with the caption, ‘Can I shake the room?’ Supporters are excited to welcome him to the ‘club’ after his tweet and some are even anticipating future collaborations.
