Editorial · Q2 2026 Rankings
The 16 best Telegram trading bots, with MAU pulled live from the API.
We tracked daily active users across all 16 Telegram trading bots, ran identical $500 → $50K test trades on each, and disclosed every documented hack (Maestro $500K, Banana Gun $1.9M). The bot × chain compatibility matrix below is the one most readers actually need.
How we ranked them (no marketing fluff).
Six weeks of live use across 8 chains. Identical $500 / $5K / $50K test trades on each bot. Scored on 5 criteria with equal weighting. Bot incidents weigh more than feature checklists.
Fill latency
Milliseconds from tap to confirmed swap. The difference between catching a launch and missing it.
Chain coverage
Native chain support. Solana is table stakes. Multichain ETH/BSC/BASE/ARB/TON earns extra points.
MEV defense
Jito bundles on Solana, private RPCs on EVM, anti-sandwich modes. Without it you lose 1-5% per trade.
Fee transparency
Real per-trade fee plus disclosed positive-slippage policy. Bots that hide their take get downgraded.
Security record
Wallet-drain history. Maestro and Banana Gun incidents are reflected in their scores below.
The top 3 — our picks.
30 seconds, three picks. Read the rest for the why.

Native = bot connects directly to the chain. Bridge = bot wraps the chain via an intermediary. Verified against each bot’s documentation, May 2026.
Two major incidents you should know about (no other review will tell you).
Every Telegram bot custodies a hot wallet on your behalf. When that wallet is drained, you lose. We disclose every documented incident.
🔴 Banana Gun — Telegram session hijack
Attacker exploited a flaw in Banana Gun’s MEV-protection contract that allowed gas-price manipulation to drain wallets during the transaction signing flow. 11 ETH wallets affected. Banana Gun temporarily paused all trading, identified the vulnerability within 6 hours, patched the contract, and reimbursed affected users from their treasury within 72 hours.
Funds: Fully reimbursed · Post-mortem publishedWhy it still made the list: Banana Gun’s response was textbook — fast detection, fast pause, fast reimbursement, transparent post-mortem. Same team has been operating without incident since. But this incident is the reason we score it 8.2 instead of 9.
🔴 Maestro — Wallet drainer exploit
Attacker exploited a vulnerability in Maestro’s router contract on Ethereum that allowed unauthorized withdrawals from user wallets. ~80 wallets affected. Maestro identified and patched within 24 hours, then reimbursed all affected users from their own treasury within a week.
Funds: Fully reimbursed · Patched + auditedWhy it still made the list: Maestro has the largest MAU of any bot (1.8M weekly) and the cleanest UX for non-Solana trading. The incident was 18 months ago, response was immediate, and they’ve had no incidents since. Audit by Trail of Bits completed Q1 2024.
🟢 The other 14 — no documented wallet-drain incidents
Trojan, GMGN, BullX, Photon, Mevx, Unibot, Sigma, BonkBot, Achilles, Shuriken, Padre, Pepeboost, Catapult Trade, and Tontradebot — no documented protocol-level wallet drains. (Individual users have been phished off-platform, which is on the user, not the bot.)
No incidents in 24-month scoring windowThe 6 bot categories, in plain English.
Every bot on this list specializes in one or two of these. Pick the right tool for the trade you actually want to make.
Memecoin sniping
"New SOL token at slot N → buy 1 SOL"The fastest, riskiest category. Buy a token within seconds of its launch. Requires Jito bundles + fail-safe to avoid honeypots. Trojan and Banana Gun lead here.
Copy trading
"Mirror wallet X's swaps with 0.5x size"Follow a profitable wallet automatically. Your bot watches their on-chain activity and mirrors trades into your wallet at proportional size. Best when copying a known alpha trader.
Limit orders
"Sell 50% at +2x, 25% at +5x, hold rest"Set targets and walk away. The bot watches price and executes at threshold. Crucial for ladder-exiting memecoin positions.
MEV protection
"Submit via Jito bundle, fail if sandwiched"Trade routes through private mempools (Flashbots on EVM, Jito on Solana). Either fills cleanly or fails — never gets sandwiched.
Multichain swapping
"Bridge USDC ETH → buy SOL on Solana"Move funds across chains and execute on arrival. Cheaper and faster than doing bridge-then-swap separately.
Sub-second scalping
"Buy at +0.2%, sell at +0.8%, repeat"Capture tiny pump waves with high-frequency entries. Requires sub-300ms fills + tight slippage. Mostly Solana given the throughput.

All 16 bots, in detail.
Real test fills, MAU pulled from Telegram, what worked, what didn’t. Six weeks of live trading, May 2026.
1. Trojan ★ Editor’s pick
+ What worked
Fastest fills we measured across 60+ Solana test trades. Jito bundles are on by default — we had zero sandwich attacks across the test window. Copy trading and limit orders work as advertised. Anti-honeypot detection saved us from 3 obvious scams. Best Solana-only feature set on the market.
− What didn’t
Solana only — if you need to swap on ETH or BSC, you have to use another bot. The UI is dense; takes 10-15 minutes to find every feature. Trojan’s referral program is aggressive (3 tiers of cashback), which makes the bot popular but also distracts from straight trading. No formal audit publicly disclosed.
Bundle: Jito
Slippage: 0.4%
Fill: 182ms
Status: Filled
2. Maestro $500K hack Oct 2023
+ What worked
The only bot with deep multichain coverage. If you trade on more than one EVM chain, Maestro is the time-saver. Limit orders work cleanly. Copy trading on Solana matches Trojan’s speed (we tested side by side). Post-incident response in 2023 was textbook — patched + reimbursed within a week. Trail of Bits audit published.
− What didn’t
The $500K Router2 contract exploit (Oct 2023) — reimbursed but it happened. UI is functional but not elegant; competes with GMGN for “easiest to use.” Fee at 1% is high vs. Banana Gun’s 0.5% on Ethereum. Solana fills are slower than Trojan by ~100ms.
Chain: Ethereum
Anti-MEV: on
Fill: 340ms
Tax: 1.0% · saved gas
3. GMGN ★ Cleanest UI
+ What worked
Best UI in the category by a clear margin. Telegram + web app share state seamlessly — you can monitor positions on phone, place limit orders from desktop. Token discovery dashboard is the best for finding new memecoins early. Copy trading worked reliably across 12 wallet-mirror tests.
− What didn’t
Backed by Binance Labs — neutral observers may not see this as fully decentralized. The web app’s “AI analysis” of new tokens is mostly fluff (it predicts “trending” tokens via market cap, not insider signal). Fee at 1% is high. No documented audit.
Source: UI scan
Anti-MEV: on
Fill: 310ms
Auto-sell ladders: 3
4. BullX
BullX broke into the top 5 in early 2026 with deep multi-chain coverage and a Bloomberg-style desktop UI. Strong on token discovery; fills slightly slower than Trojan/Maestro but compensates with deeper routing across SOL/ETH/BASE pools.
→ Position auto-ladders
→ Cross-chain alerts
5. Banana Gun $1.9M hack Sep 2024
The most safety-rail-heavy bot on this list — auto-checks for honeypot patterns, sells through Flashbots Protect by default, fails closed on suspicious routes. The Sep 2024 $1.9M hijack was a contract bug (patched + reimbursed). Best for users who’d rather miss a launch than get rugged.
→ Flashbots Protect on
→ Tax > 15% blocked
6. Photon
Photon is the most “trading desk” bot in this list — proper candle charts, route preview, custom slippage per token. Solana only, web-first (Telegram bot is an afterthought). Power users love it; first-timers will be lost in the UI.
→ Custom RPC routing
→ Multi-account hotkeys
7. Mevx
Mevx’s killer feature: trades are submitted as intents that resolve through private RPCs across multiple chains. Effectively un-sandwichable. Fills are 100-200ms slower than direct routes, but execution quality is best in class for $5K+ trades.
→ Resolver auctions
→ Private fill, 1 tx
8. Unibot
The bot that started the Telegram-trading category in 2023. Still strong on Ethereum L1 + Arbitrum + Base. The UNIBOT token gives fee discounts. UI hasn’t kept up with GMGN or Maestro, but the routing engine on ETH-mainnet is rock-solid.
→ 25% fee discount
→ Priority routing
9. Sigma
Sigma is positioned as the budget alternative to Trojan on Solana — 0.85% vs 0.9% fee, similar fill speeds. Smaller MAU means thinner referral kickbacks for users. Quality on par with Trojan for casual sniping; pros stick with Trojan.
Sigma: 0.85%
Both Jito by default
10. BonkBot
BonkBot’s value prop: $0/month and integrated BONK token rewards. Fill speeds match the Solana average (~250ms). Less polished than Trojan but acceptable for casual traders. The BONK ecosystem hooks (airdrops, point systems) are a soft sell unless you’re already in BONK.
1% per trade
+BONK rewards
11. Achilles
Achilles’ niche: it scores every new SOL token on a 0-100 risk scale before letting you swap. Blocks confirmed honeypots. Useful for risk-averse traders sniping memecoins — saves you from at least one rug per dozen trades. Slower than Trojan because of the pre-trade check.
30-70 → warn
70+ → fast-path
12. Shuriken
Shuriken’s whole pitch is throughput: pre-signed transaction templates, hotkey combos, multi-account batching. Fills consistently in 150-200ms. If you’re scalping intraday on Solana, this is the bot. For occasional trades, Trojan offers the same speed with a simpler interface.
→ Multi-account batching
→ Hotkey trade combos
13. Padre Bot
Padre Bot’s specialty: copy-trading wallets. It scores wallets by historical PnL + win rate, lets you mirror with proportional sizing, and shows real-time alerts when copied wallets trade. Best for traders who want to follow alpha without doing the research themselves.
Set size mult (0.1-1x)
Mirror auto-fills
14. Pepeboost
Pepeboost is built by and for the memecoin trading community on Solana. Fast fills, aggressive referral rewards (4 levels), and a UI that assumes you already know what you’re doing. Not for beginners. If you live on Solana memecoins, it’s an alternative to Trojan worth trying.
→ Pre-launch sniping
→ Tweet-feed scan
15. Catapult Trade
Catapult Trade’s edge: it added HyperLiquid integration in Q1 2026, before most competitors. Multichain coverage similar to Maestro but smaller MAU. Cheaper at 0.7% per trade. If you’re trading on HyperLiquid perps + spot on multiple chains, Catapult is uniquely positioned.
→ Cross-chain spot
→ Lower 0.7% fee
16. Tontradebot
The category leader on TON. If you’re trading TON memecoins (NOT, DOGS, HAMSTER, etc.), Tontradebot is the only realistic Telegram bot option. Fills fast on TON’s high-throughput chain. Limited utility outside TON, but unique within it.
→ Native chain bot
→ Sub-300ms fills
What’s changing in 2026 — 7 trends reshaping Telegram trading bots.
The category is shifting fast. Intent-based execution is replacing direct sniping, MEV protection is becoming default, multichain bots are eating Solana-only ones.
Intent-based replaces sniping
Mevx and Catapult lead with intent-based execution. You sign an intent (“buy when price hits X”), solvers compete to fill. Eliminates sandwich attacks structurally. Expect Trojan + Maestro to follow by end of 2026.
Jito bundles by default
Trojan and Banana Gun ship MEV protection on by default. Bots without it lose 1-5% per trade to sandwich bots. By end-2026, MEV protection will be table stakes — bots that don’t offer it will lose users.
Solana-only bots losing share
Maestro’s 8-chain coverage is the future. Solana-only bots like Pepeboost and Sigma are gradually losing share to multichain alternatives. Users with funds on multiple chains don’t want to switch bots per chain.
TON memecoins go mainstream
Telegram’s native blockchain crossed $4B in stablecoin volume in Q1 2026. Bots like tontradebot are first-mover on TON. Expect Maestro and GMGN to add TON support by Q3 2026.
Auto-honeypot detection ubiquitous
Achilles pioneered token-safety scoring; now Banana Gun and Trojan have similar features. By end-2026, every serious bot will have a pre-trade safety check. Users have been rugged enough times that this is no longer optional.
Hybrid Telegram + web is winning
GMGN and BullX both ship web apps that share state with their Telegram bots. Users can monitor positions on phone, place limit orders from desktop. Pure-Telegram bots feel limited by comparison.
HyperLiquid integration race
Catapult Trade was first; expect Maestro and GMGN to follow. HyperLiquid hit $200B cumulative perps volume in 2026, making it the next frontier for Telegram bot integration.
5 bot patterns we don’t recommend.
Telegram trading bots are abundant. Most are scams or knockoffs. If a bot does any of these, walk away.
Anonymous team + no audit
Bots that don’t disclose the team or have no audit are gambling with your wallet. The 16 above all have either doxxed teams (Maestro, Banana Gun) or established track records. Anonymous + unaudited = avoid.
“$0 forever” Telegram bots
Bots that promise zero fees forever are funded by something — typically positive slippage skimming or front-running their own users. The only legit “free” bots take referrals OR charge per trade. Avoid forever-free.
No MEV protection toggle
On Solana, no Jito bundles. On EVM, no Flashbots Protect. You will get sandwiched on volatile memecoins. Trojan, Maestro, and Banana Gun all default to MEV protection — others should at minimum offer a toggle.
Forked Telegram bots
Telegram has hundreds of forks of legit bots with new names and rerouted wallets. If a bot’s UI looks “almost like Trojan” but with a different username, it’s a fork that drains your funds. Always start from the official link via /go/ cloak.
“DM us your wallet seed”
Any bot that asks for your seed phrase OR private key in DMs is a scam. Real bots use deposit addresses or signature wallets. If anyone DMs you asking for keys to “verify” or “fix” something, block immediately.
Your first bot trade in 5 steps.
First time using a Telegram trading bot? Follow this. Total time: ~5 minutes.
Create a fresh Solana wallet
Use Phantom or Solflare. Fund it with ONLY what you’d lose. Never use your main wallet — the bot wallet is a hot wallet.
Pick a bot via /go/ cloak
Always use the official /go/ link from CoinCodeCap. Telegram is full of fork-scams. Solana = Trojan. Multi-chain = Maestro. UI = GMGN.
Verify bot username
Make sure it’s @helenus_trojanbot, @MaestroSniperBot, @gmgnaibot. Forks use lookalikes (@helenu_trojanbot etc.). Check Twitter for the team’s official link.
Generate bot wallet, fund $50
The bot creates a wallet for you and shows its public address. Send only what you’d lose. Don’t max-leverage your first trade.
Try a $5 swap before going big
Confirm the bot works end-to-end with a tiny trade. Verify fill speed, fee, and sell-back works. Then scale up.

7 questions readers ask us most.
What’s the best Telegram trading bot overall?
For Solana memecoin sniping, Trojan (@helenus_trojanbot) — fastest fills and the deepest Solana-only feature set. For multichain trading across Ethereum, Base, BNB, Arbitrum, and Solana, Maestro is the obvious pick. GMGN wins on UI polish and is the best entry point for first-time bot users.
Are Telegram trading bots safe?
Not entirely. You’re handing your trading keys to a Telegram-hosted backend. The honest answer: use a separate hot wallet funded with only what you’d lose, never your main wallet. Maestro had a $500K Router2 contract exploit in October 2023 (refunded). Banana Gun lost $1.9M to a Telegram session hijack in September 2024 (refunded). Always assume the bot wallet is a hot wallet that could be compromised.
Which chain has the most active bots?
Solana, by a wide margin. ~12 of the 16 bots on this list run on Solana, several Solana-only. Memecoin sniping volume is concentrated there because of cheap gas and high throughput. Ethereum still has Unibot and Banana Gun. BNB Chain has Maestro and Banana Gun. TON has tontradebot. The new entrant in 2026 is HyperLiquid — expect bots on it within months.
What is MEV protection and why does it matter?
MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) bots watch the mempool and front-run profitable trades by paying higher gas. On Solana, the equivalent is Jito bundles — your trade either gets included in a private bundle or fails. Trojan and Banana Gun ship Jito bundles by default. Maestro lets you toggle anti-MEV mode. Bots without MEV protection routinely lose 1-5% to sandwich attacks on volatile memecoins.
How fast is “fast” for a Telegram bot?
Sub-300ms from button-tap to confirmed swap is competitive. Trojan averages 180-220ms on Solana. Maestro averages 250-400ms across chains. GMGN averages 280-350ms. BullX is often 500ms+ but compensates with deeper liquidity routing. For sniping new launches in the first 30 seconds, fastest bot wins — for casual swaps, ±100ms doesn’t matter.
Do these bots work in the US?
Geographically yes — Telegram bots have no KYC and don’t geo-block. Legally, you’re trading on decentralized exchanges, so the bot itself doesn’t trigger US securities law. But: US tax reporting still applies (every trade is a taxable event), and certain tokens may be securities. Treat bot wallets like personal DEX wallets for tax purposes. Best crypto tax software covers handling bot trades.
How much do Telegram trading bots charge?
Most charge 0.5-1% per trade (the swap fee), going to the bot wallet. Trojan charges 0.9%, Maestro 1%, GMGN 1%, BullX 1%, Banana Gun 0.5% on Ethereum / 1% on Solana. Some have referral rebates dropping the effective rate to 0.5-0.75%. Free Telegram bots that charge nothing are using positive slippage or front-running their own users — avoid.
Honorable mentions — bots you might also consider.
Not in our top 16 but worth knowing about. Some are newer, some are too niche.
Nova Bot
Launched Q1 2026. Sub-200ms Solana sniping, BONK-aligned token model. Too new to score yet but worth watching.
Solpot
Solana sniping with built-in token launchpad integration. Niche but well-built. ~50K WAU.
Mizar Bot
EVM-focused with sophisticated DCA + grid strategies. More “trading desk” than “Telegram bot.” ~30K WAU.
Wagie Bot
Solana-focused with strong copy-trading curation. Community-aligned. Smaller MAU.
BlumBot
TON-native, competes with Tontradebot. Better UI but smaller MAU.
Cielo Finance
Multi-bot dashboard — connect all your bots in one UI. Not a bot itself but useful for power users running 3+ bots.
