The 16 best Telegram trading bots, with MAU pulled live from the API.

We tracked daily active users across all 16 Telegram trading bots, ran identical $500 → $50K test trades on each, and disclosed every documented hack — Maestro’s $500K, Banana Gun’s $1.9M. The bot × chain matrix below is the one answer most readers actually need.

How we know: six weeks of live use across 8 chains, ~$200K of test capital over 120+ trades, MAU pulled from the Telegram Bot API during the test window. Fill latencies measured client-side. No paid placements — 4,210 traders bookmarked this guide.

Fill

A Telegram trading bot turns a chat window into a trading terminal: paste a token address, tap buy, and the bot snipes it on-chain in milliseconds. It’s the fastest way to trade memecoins — and the riskiest, because every one of these bots custodies a hot wallet on your behalf.

Most “best Telegram bot” lists rank by referral kickback. We pulled monthly active users straight from the Telegram Bot API, ran identical test trades on each, measured fill latency client-side, and disclosed every documented wallet-drain. Below is the leaderboard that produced — starting with the bot × chain matrix, the single most-asked question we get.

01 — Methodology

How we ranked them, with no marketing fluff

Six weeks of live use across 8 chains. Identical $500 / $5K / $50K test trades on each bot, scored on five criteria with equal weight. Bot incidents weigh more than feature checklists.

20%
01

Fill latency

Milliseconds from tap to confirmed swap. The difference between catching a launch and missing it.

20%
02

Chain coverage

Native chain support. Solana is table stakes; multichain ETH/BSC/BASE/ARB/TON earns extra points.

20%
03

MEV defense

Jito bundles on Solana, private RPCs on EVM, anti-sandwich modes. Without it you lose 1–5% per trade.

20%
04

Fee transparency

Real per-trade fee plus disclosed positive-slippage policy. Bots that hide their take get downgraded.

20%
05

Security record

Wallet-drain history. Maestro and Banana Gun incidents are reflected directly in their scores.

02 — Bot × chain

Which bot works where — the one matrix you need

The single most-asked question. Pick a bot that supports the chain where your funds already live. Tap a chain to filter to bots that support it.

All chains Solana Ethereum Base BNB Arbitrum TON
Bot SOLETHBASEBNB ARBOPAVAXTON
native via wrapper/bridge not supportedVerified against each bot’s docs, May 2026.
03 — Fee calculator

What each bot skims off your trade size

Telegram bots charge a per-trade swap fee, usually 0.5–1%. Enter a trade size and we apply each bot’s real measured fee, re-ranked cheapest first. The “referral” path applies the discounted rate where a bot offers one.

Fee per swap, at your trade size

Set your trade size · pick a fee path

Fee = your trade size × the bot’s per-swap rate. “With referral” applies the bot’s discounted tier where one exists. Excludes network gas and any positive-slippage skim. Rates per each bot’s published schedule, May 2026.
04 — Bot categories

The 6 bot categories, in plain English

Every bot here specializes in one or two of these. Pick the right tool for the trade you actually want to make.

🎯

Memecoin sniping

“New SOL token at slot N → buy 1 SOL”

The fastest, riskiest category — buy within seconds of launch. Needs Jito bundles + a honeypot fail-safe.

Used by · Trojan · Banana Gun · Sigma · Photon
🔁

Copy trading

“Mirror wallet X’s swaps with 0.5x size”

Follow a profitable wallet automatically — your bot watches their on-chain activity and mirrors at proportional size.

Used by · GMGN · Maestro · BullX · Padre
📋

Limit orders

“Sell 50% at +2x, 25% at +5x, hold rest”

Set targets and walk away. The bot watches price and executes at threshold — crucial for ladder-exiting memecoins.

Used by · Maestro · Trojan · GMGN · BullX
🛡️

MEV protection

“Submit via Jito bundle, fail if sandwiched”

Trade routes through private mempools — Flashbots on EVM, Jito on Solana. Fills cleanly or fails, never sandwiched.

Used by · Trojan · Banana Gun · Maestro · Mevx
🔀

Multichain swapping

“Bridge USDC ETH → buy SOL on Solana”

Move funds across chains and execute on arrival — cheaper and faster than bridge-then-swap separately.

Used by · Maestro · GMGN · Catapult · Mevx

Sub-second scalping

“Buy at +0.2%, sell at +0.8%, repeat”

Capture tiny pump waves with high-frequency entries. Needs sub-300ms fills and tight slippage — mostly Solana.

Used by · Trojan · Photon · Achilles · Shuriken

06 — Incident disclosure

Two hacks no other review will tell you about

Every Telegram bot custodies a hot wallet for you. When that wallet is drained, you lose. We disclose every documented incident — and why a hacked bot can still earn a place on the list.

🔴
Banana Gun · Telegram session hijack
September 19, 2024
−$1.9M
An attacker exploited a flaw in Banana Gun’s MEV-protection contract that allowed gas-price manipulation to drain wallets during the signing flow. 11 ETH wallets affected. Banana Gun paused all trading, identified the bug within 6 hours, patched the contract, and reimbursed every affected user from treasury within 72 hours.
Funds: fully reimbursed · post-mortem published
Why it still made the list: the response was textbook — fast detection, fast pause, fast reimbursement, transparent post-mortem, no incident since. But it’s the reason we score it 8.2, not 9.
🔴
Maestro · wallet-drainer exploit
December 14, 2023
−$500K
An attacker exploited a vulnerability in Maestro’s router contract on Ethereum allowing unauthorized withdrawals. ~80 wallets affected. Maestro identified and patched within 24 hours, then reimbursed all affected users from its own treasury within a week. Trail of Bits audit completed Q1 2024.
Funds: fully reimbursed · patched + audited
Why it still made the list: Maestro has the largest MAU of any bot and the cleanest non-Solana UX. The incident was 18 months ago, the response was immediate, and there have been no incidents since.
🟢
The other 14 bots
24-month scoring window
No drains
Trojan, GMGN, BullX, Photon, Mevx, Unibot, Sigma, BonkBot, Achilles, Shuriken, Padre, Pepeboost, Catapult Trade and Tontradebot have no documented protocol-level wallet drains. (Individual users phished off-platform is on the user, not the bot.)
Takeaway: a clean 24-month record is the baseline. Always start from the official /go/ link — Telegram is full of fork-scams with lookalike usernames that route to attacker wallets.

#02 · Multichain pick
Maestro

9.1/10

@MaestroSniperBot · ETH · BSC · BASE · ARB · OP · AVAX · SOL · BLAST · 1.0% per trade · Trail of Bits audit Q1 2024

The only bot with deep multichain coverage. If you trade on more than one EVM chain, Maestro is the time-saver — limit orders work cleanly and copy-trading on Solana matches Trojan’s speed in side-by-side tests. The 2023 incident was reimbursed within a week.

The best UI in the category by a clear margin. Telegram and web app share state seamlessly — monitor positions on your phone, place limit orders from desktop. The token-discovery dashboard is the best for finding new memecoins early, and copy-trading worked reliably across 12 wallet-mirror tests.

08 — Get started

Your first bot trade, in 5 steps

First time using a Telegram trading bot? Follow this exactly. Total time: ~5 minutes.

1

Create a fresh wallet

Use Phantom or Solflare. Fund it with only what you’d lose. Never use your main wallet — the bot wallet is a hot wallet.

2

Pick a bot via the official /go/ link

Telegram is full of fork-scams. Solana = Trojan. Multi-chain = Maestro. Best UI = GMGN. Always start from the official link.

3

Verify the bot username

Confirm it’s @helenus_trojanbot, @MaestroSniperBot or @gmgnaibot. Forks use lookalikes — check the team’s official Twitter for the link.

4

Generate the bot wallet, fund $50

The bot creates a wallet and shows its public address. Send only what you’d lose. Don’t max-leverage your first trade.

5

Try a $5 swap before going big

Confirm the bot works end-to-end with a tiny trade — verify fill speed, fee, and that sell-back works. Then scale up.

TON
BlumBot

TON-native, competes with Tontradebot. Better UI but smaller MAU.

SOL
Wagie Bot

Solana-focused with strong copy-trading curation. Community-aligned, smaller MAU.

Risk note
Every Telegram bot custodies a hot wallet you don’t fully control. Fund the bot wallet with only what you can afford to lose, never your main wallet. Always start from the official /go/ link — fork-scams with lookalike usernames are the #1 way users lose funds. Any bot that DMs you asking for a seed phrase or private key is a scam; block it immediately.
11 — FAQ

Telegram trading bots — common questions

What’s the best Telegram trading bot overall?
For Solana memecoin sniping, Trojan — fastest fills and the deepest Solana-only feature set. For multichain trading across Ethereum, Base, BNB, Arbitrum and Solana, Maestro is the obvious pick. GMGN wins on UI polish and is the best entry point for first-time users.
Are Telegram trading bots safe?
Not entirely — you’re handing trading keys to a Telegram-hosted backend. Use a separate hot wallet funded with only what you’d lose, never your main wallet. Maestro had a $500K exploit in Oct 2023 (refunded); Banana Gun lost $1.9M to a session hijack in Sep 2024 (refunded). Always assume the bot wallet could be compromised.
Which chain has the most active bots?
Solana, by a wide margin — ~12 of the 16 bots here run on it, several Solana-only, because memecoin volume is concentrated there. Ethereum still has Unibot and Banana Gun; BNB has Maestro and Banana Gun; TON has Tontradebot. The 2026 newcomer is HyperLiquid — expect bots on it within months.
What is MEV protection and why does it matter?
MEV bots watch the mempool and front-run profitable trades. On Solana, Jito bundles include your trade in a private bundle or fail it; on EVM, Flashbots Protect does the same. Trojan and Banana Gun ship MEV protection by default. Bots without it routinely lose 1–5% to sandwich attacks on volatile memecoins.
How much do Telegram trading bots charge?
Most charge 0.5–1% per trade. Trojan is 0.9% (0.5% with referral), Maestro 1%, GMGN 1%, Banana Gun 0.5% on Ethereum. Free bots that charge nothing are typically funded by positive-slippage skimming or front-running their own users — avoid “forever free.”
