“Nothing to announce yet, but we are definitely actively exploring NFTs and how we can make them more accessible to a broader audience,” Mosseri stated in an Instagram Q&A posted to his Stories in response to a question about his ideas on integrating NFTs into Instagram.
While he didn’t make any official pronouncements about NFTs, he did say that Instagram’s goal is to make the tokenized realm more approachable to the general public. He also mentioned that Instagram is attempting to assist its producers through NFTs.
“I think it is an interesting place that we can play and also a way to hopefully help creators,” he added.
