Bybit has announced the opening of its non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, which will provide customers with access to the world of NFTs, GameFi, and the metaverse.
The new portal, according to Bybit, is a one-stop-shop that attempts to link digital artists and collectors. Despite the criticism around NFT investments, Ben Zhou, co-founder, and CEO of Bybit stated that the project has enabled more people to participate in digital ownership.
NFT grants content creators ownership and control over their creations. “We’re pleased to provide Bybit consumers with a premium NFT platform so they may be a part of the construction of a new marketplace and new universe called the metaverse,” said Bybit CEO.
The platform, branded the Bybit NFT Marketplace by the exchange, will operate differently than other existing NFT stores, according to the exchange. Before purchasing and selling NFTs, Bybit consumers will not be required to connect their external wallets to the site. Instead, they can use their spot accounts to exchange digital collectables.
As part of its attempts to address the trading needs of its clients, Bybit stated that it would support NFTs from several blockchains. The crypto exchange established in the United States stated that using the site would be simple for everyone, regardless of their degree of experience.
To get things started, the exchange announced that it would launch campaigns including some of the best digital treasures from Monster Galaxy, ONBD, and Realy. The NFT marketplace would also facilitate the release of limited-edition NFTs from both emerging and established artists, as well as various mystery boxes for participants.
