Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder and the man alongside Steve Jobs himself, has time and again flared his smitten over the original cryptocurrency, bitcoin. Wozniak, who shot to fame for designing Appleโ€™s first computers, has shaped the brand into the $1 trillion dollar giant it is today. As his company hits the whopping valuation of $3 trillion dollars, the co-founder has once again come out in support of Bitcoin, especially at a time when the cryptocurrency finds itself dwindling in the torpedo of shaky geopolitics of Europe.

As the crypto scene becomes cluttered more than ever in its decade-old run, with new cryptocurrencies aspiring to make it big, bitcoin continues to be the baton-holder monopolizing the minds and market of users. In this turbulent space, Wozniak simplifies the crypto world by calling spade a spade, in this case, the market is highly unstable.

As a new report from Business Insider, Wozniak commented on the power of crypto and how it has facilitated a means for people to transfer money and receive them from others during the process of several up and coming projects, decentralizing the pre-established concept of money-making.

โ€œThereโ€™s so many cryptocurrencies that come out now; everybody has a way to create a new one, and you have a celebrity star with it,โ€ the Apple co-founder said. โ€œIt seems like theyโ€™re just collecting a bunch of money from people who want to invest at the very earliest stage, when itโ€™s worth pennies,โ€ says Wozniak.

Moreover, he brings out an analogy to the show โ€œUnicorn Huntersโ€, which Wozniak stars in along with Lance Bass where they invest in breakout ventures. By doing so, he felicitates the upsides of cryptocurrencies.

Wozniak hails the launch of a token called Unicorn which acts as a stock or exchange-traded fund(ETF) enabling users to acquire equity holdings of startups. โ€œItโ€™s really opening up the world of startup investment to the masses,โ€ adds Wozniak.

Comparing bitcoin to gold, Wozniak lauds the cryptocurrency calling it theย โ€œonly one thatโ€™s pure-gold mathematicsโ€, a distinction among the many cryptocurrencies in the market. This comes after he complimented bitcoin earlier in July 2021, saying that โ€œBitcoin is the most amazing mathematical miracle.โ€ Wozniak highlighted bitcoin’s limited attribute in the market as compared to the abundant presence of gold in nature.
