Alchemy Pay (ACH) is a provider of fiat-crypto payment solutions. GrePay is a global acquirer and payments provider. They both announced a partnership in a press release. Grepay has over 100 local payment channels that handle over 200k transactions per day. Alchemy Pay will now use these channels to connect crypto service providers to key markets around the world, including the United Arab Emirates, India, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Pakistan.
The partnership will allow Alchemy Pay to provide GrePay with cryptocurrency payment acceptance capabilities. This includes on-chain transactions for popular mainstream cryptocurrencies. As a result, Grepay’s merchants will all now have the option to accept cryptocurrency payments. Alchemy Pay’s hybrid crypto-fiat payment system enables merchant partners to accept popular cryptocurrencies for instant offline and online payments at a low cost. The system is currently supported in over 70 countries and reaches over 2 million merchants.
The GrePay partnership follows on the heels of Alchemy Pay’s recent collaborations. These alliances have significantly expanded Alchemy Pay’s capabilities, not only in terms of global coverage and licensing, but also in terms of the transaction and operating costs. MEXC exchange has recently integrated Alchemy Pay’s fiat payment rails, allowing their users in key new Asian markets to deposit and withdraw fiat currency as a result of the improved services.
Alchemy Pay CEO John Tan commented on today’s announcement, saying, “GrePay broadens our global reach in terms of what we can offer our crypto service partners as well as the crypto payment acceptance we can provide merchants. The ultimate goal is to promote the consumer’s easy adoption and use of cryptocurrency.”
