- Users of Crypto.com have received an email saying that they are informed that Foris DAX Inc., a member of Crypto.com Group, will become the new contracting entity of the Crypto.com App.
Crypto.com is a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange app. The Crypto.com app is the best place to buy, sell, and pay in cryptocurrency. According to our sources, some users of Crypto.com have received an email.
The email said that the customer is pleased to be informed that Foris DAX Inc., a member of Crypto.com Group, will become the new contracting entity of the Crypto.com App and select services, effective immediately. The Crypto.com App Terms & Conditions (App T&Cs) have been updated to reflect this change. To ensure uninterrupted access to your account, please review and accept the updated App T&Cs and Privacy Notice in the Crypto.com App at your earliest convenience.
Further, the email said that upon acceptance of the App T&Cs, the ‘following changes will take effect:
- Your non-USD fiat wallets will be disabled.
- Any remaining non-USD fiat balances after 11 April 2022 will be converted to USDC.
- Other products and services available in the App will remain unaffected.
The email concluded by saying that rest assured that your funds will remain safe and accessible to you during this transition.
There is no official announcement about this email from Crypto.com. But Crypto.com has replied to one of the Tweet by saying “Hi there! Please get in touch with us via DM with your referral code and a short summary of your enquiry. It would be a pleasure for us to check up on this for you and advise you accordingly. Thank you!”
