Massive Shiba Inu Billboard In Times Square

A massive integer billboard advertising the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency has appeared in New York City’s Times Square.

“We will reach the moon soon”, referring to a famous phrase in the cryptocurrency realm.

Simply put, “going to the moon” in crypto jargon indicates that the price of a specific coin is skyrocketing.

Similarly, a coin may be described as “mooning”, which signifies its price has reached a high point. Investors might use this to identify the optimum timing to sell their currency to receive the most profitable price for it.

Shiba Inu isn’t the first meme coin to make an appearance at Times Square. Dogecoin and Safemoon supporters also acquired advertising places in one of the world’s busiest pedestrian zones this year, when their value was at their maximum.

When the Dogecoin mania was at its pinnacle, following the bitcoin pump, Elon Musk participated. On the popular Times Square Main street, a billboard advertising Dogecoin emerged. It states DOGECOIN in prominent characters and TAKE OVER THE WORLD in small print.

For a single day, a billboard in Times Square may cost up to $50,000.

Although Shib has had an extensive exchange listing in the previous two months, acquiring Shib within New York is still challenging due to the strict regulations. Crypto lending protocols that offer customers above-market interest rates for digital asset deposits were outlawed in New York as per Attorney General Letitia James in October under the pretext of consumer protection.

The Shib community even went so far as to start an online petition on Change.org to allow New Yorkers to purchase the popular meme coin through Coinbase. The petition is intended to politely suggest that Coinbase express interest in holding Shib currency on their platform. Shib has been a big success for Coinbase and its investors, and it is currently the eighth most popular coin on their platform, rising by leaps and bounds daily.
