In a Press Release today, the digital asset trading platform, FalconX has announced that it has hired the Chief Revenue Officer of Pinterest, John Kaplan, as the Head of Revenue. The acquirement of such a seasoned talent will almost come to 30x YoY development, a $210M round, and a $3.75B valuation.
Kaplan said, “I believe in FalconX’s vision that much of the world’s value will be tokenised in the next five years, which is why now is the time to get in on the ground floor of the crypto market.” He says that he is thrilled about this opportunity as he believes that technology is about to make a breakthrough that will mould industries and our future.
For the past six years, he has been a part of Pinterest, where he was responsible for the company’s global revenue operations which also included U.S and global advertisement deals and with brands and ad agencies.
He has also worked with Google for twelve years as their Vice President of U.S sales. In addition, he has worked for a billion-dollar business that included Google Search, Google Display Network, YouTube, and Double Click Programmatic solutions.

He will now be joining the executive team at FalconX to develop and extend the platform and provide solutions to FalconX’s institutional clients. In addition, he will focus on growing the company’s revenue by creating a high-performing GTM engine across sales, marketing, client coverage, and revenue operations. Jon will also be responsible for driving “top-line growth and scaling a top-notch team on a global level.”
