The growth of digital currencies in the gaming community has risen since this year. To create more awareness about cryptocurrencies, FIFA has taken a significant step. It has announced Crypto.com as its official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Cryptocurrency firm, Crypto.com has been seen expanding its bandwidth of essential deals recently. In February 2022, the firm signed a nine-year partnership deal with Miami Grand Prix. In addition, last year, it closed a $700 million partnership with Staples Center and renamed it Crypto.com Arena.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will commence on 21 November and end on 18 December 2022. To lure new customers in, Crypto.com will provide its new and existing users opportunities to attend the matches and win “exclusive merchandise.”

FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Kay Madati, said, “Crypto.com has already demonstrated a commitment to supporting top-tier teams and leagues, major events and iconic venues across the world, and there is no platform bigger, or with a greater reach and cultural impact, than FIFA’s global platform of football.

We are delighted to have a global brand like Crypto.com join us as a sponsor of the exciting and groundbreaking FIFA World Cup in Qatar, ultimately helping to grow our beautiful game on a global scale.”

The Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, said that their partnership with FIFA will lead to new paths to develop their platform to empower the sports community.
