- PeckShield has detected multiple MetaMask Phishing Scams.
PeckShield has detected a batch of fake MetaMask websites. They trick us into downloading the fake one, which looks nearly 100% identical to the genuine one, and then steal our recovery phrase. In the screenshot below, we can see two such websites, but both are now labelled as phishing and are not working.
PeckShield Team has used PeckShieldAlert, which is a free Google Chrome extension to detect phishing sites.
